Standing proudly within Roker Hotel the Six Soldiers Suite is our traditional grand ballroom, perfect for your larger scale wedding celebration! Our stunning wedding venue features crystal chandeliers and tall arched statement windows to flood the space with light and love.

Let There Be Crumbs Is an intimate North East coastal wedding venue right on Roker seafront with oodles of character, rustic charm and a homely feel.
Our quirky tearoom by day and gorgeous boutique bistro by night oozes rustic charm with its chandeliers, exposed brickwork and of course the unparalleled views of Roker Pier and Lighthouse which you can use for your all-important wedding photographs! The classic wall panelling brings grandeur to the room, and is complimented by the ornate décor and stylish soft furnishings.
Food & Drink
Food and drink is such a hugely important part of your wedding day, and know you want to impress guests from the first canape to a midnight feast!
Our Head Chef and his team have a wealth of expertise and experience and have created stunning menus which include canapes, light snacks, wedding breakfasts, sharing platters and evening buffets.
Decorations
Décor, lighting and styling can dramatically enhance the mood, feel and ambiance of your wedding. You can really go to town with your wedding decorations and accessories here in both of our stunning and spacious venues. All event dressers can provide décor, props, equipment and entertainment packages to suit your tastes. For example, why not look at blossom trees, love letters, flower walls and arches, candelabras, centre pieces, post-boxes, starlit backdrops, photo booths, aisle runners, lanterns etc.
Open Days
Our Wedding open days and showcases are a chance for you to see our fantastic venue and get some inspiration for your big day! We regularly arrange for our event décor company to dress The Six Soldiers Suite and invite you to enjoy a glass of fizz while we show off what we can do, and just how beautiful our venues are! The space is transformed into a magical fairy tale, which will whet your appetite and seriously inspire you for your big day!
Accommodation
We want you to spend the first night being a married couple in comfort and style, so as a little wedding present from us, when you book a full wedding package, we will include our honeymoon suite on the night of your wedding free of charge! We can also offer discounted rates for bridal parties to stay the night before (and all important beautifying on the morning of the wedding!)
Our spacious bridal suites include a king size bed with pristine white sheets, Jaccuzi bath in the ensuite, magnificent sea views, large dressing table with natural daylight, free Wi-Fi, and a Kenco coffee machine!
Asian Weddings
Here at Roker Hotel we pride ourselves on our ability to ensure that traditional values and practices are honoured whilst hosting an elegant extravaganza that is a traditional Asian wedding! In the form of the Six Soldiers Suite we boast a fantastic self-contained space complete with its own separate bar area, and private toilets. With ornate chandeliers, towering windows, high ceilings, and luxurious wall hangings it’s the perfect setting for your celebrations. The venue is also perfect for Henna Parties, Bridal Showers or any Asian celebration!
