About The Hotel
The Roker Hotel, Sunderland was built over 170 years ago and in this time has seen many additions and changes, meaning not one of our 43 en-suite rooms are exactly the same. We love our little irregularities, it’s what gives our hotel character and makes us different. The hotel is idea for a couple’s getaway or a romantic break as we offer various packages to ensure your get the best enjoyment.

We are able to offer standard Double and Twin Rooms, Cosy Doubles, Singles and Seaview superior rooms with views of the beautiful North East Coastline , including double, twin and family rooms. Each room contains a 32” Flat screen TV’s with built in Freeview, offering music, Netflix’s and teleshopping, as well as the all-important children’s programmes.
Or why not treat yourself to an upgrade in one of our Seaview executive rooms. Featuring super-king sized beds, 42” flat screen TV, these en-suite rooms come with either a large walk-in shower, or a bath with shower to make your stay with us a little bit more special.
Whether you’ve been on the road for business or have visited from afar, we will make sure to give you the home from home experience.
The new contemporary bedrooms have undergone stylish room upgrade programme, offering excellent space with lovely soft furnishings and new bathrooms. Rooms located on the first floor gives guests easy access to our bedrooms.
We have a great selection of family rooms for families of all sizes. For extra sleeping space ask for a super king sized bed to stretch out in for a sound night’s sleep! Our family rooms are idea for visiting local attractions and getting a good night sleep for the family packed day out.
